Trip Overview
Climb the highest mountain in North Africa at 4,167m, starting just two hours from the vibrant city of Marrakech. No mountaineering expertise is required — this 3-day trek through the High Atlas takes you from the traditional Berber village of Imlil, up through the Ait Mizane Valley past ancient shrines and walnut groves, to the Refuge les Mouflons at 3,207m. On summit day you'll ascend through the south cirque over scree slopes to stand on the roof of North Africa, with views stretching to the Sahara Desert on a clear day.
Who is this for?
A demanding high-altitude trek requiring strong fitness and determination. The summit day is long and tough — 10+ hours of walking at altitude. Prior mountain experience is helpful but not essential if you train properly.

"This was my first time cycling with Adventure Cafe; first time riding from London to Paris and my first time riding this sort of distance over 3 days. Lots of preparation had gone into this from AC prior to departing London."
