Trip Overview
Dramatic peaks, alpine lakes, and remote ridgelines in Eastern Europe's most spectacular national park. The Polish Tatras offer a genuine alpine trekking experience at a fraction of the cost of the Western Alps, with trails that rival anything in Switzerland or Austria. Over five days, you'll traverse high mountain passes, walk along exposed ridgelines, and descend to crystal-clear glacial lakes. The Tatra National Park is home to chamois, marmots, and eagles. Accommodation is in mountain refuges and traditional Polish lodges, with hearty local food to fuel each day's adventure.
Who is this for?
Suited to fit walkers with some mountain experience. The ridgeline sections require confidence on exposed terrain. You should be comfortable walking 6-8 hours per day in mountain conditions.

"This was my first time cycling with Adventure Cafe; first time riding from London to Paris and my first time riding this sort of distance over 3 days. Lots of preparation had gone into this from AC prior to departing London."
